Jamie does workplace investigations into all kinds of workplace issues and is an experienced investigator. Her experience in-house and as a litigation lawyer has proven valuable to clients who find themselves either with a serious issue to investigate, or an overall desire to review their policies and practices. Jamie’s approach is to provide practical, business-oriented advice with an understanding of issues such as fair process, privacy, and risk management.

In September 2018, Jamie was appointed The City of Edmonton’s first Integrity Commissioner. In this role, she is responsible for investigating Code of Conduct complaints made against the Mayor or Councillors.
