Craig’s experience ranges from advising entrepreneurial start-ups to assisting public companies on complex transactions valued in excess of $30 billion.  Regardless of the size of the client or the transaction, Craig is dedicated to providing helpful and responsive legal support.

Working as part of Kingsgate’s integrated and collaborative corporate commercial team, Craig assists clients on corporate and commercial matters throughout the life cycle of the business, from the early formative stages through the sale of business.  He ensures that corporate commercial requirements are met, including advising on governance, privacy, data, e-commerce, and cybersecurity matters. Craig is particularly adept at negotiating and drafting agreements for complex commercial arrangements such as: intellectual property and technology development, transfer and licensing; software as a service (SaaS) offerings; construction and EPC projects; and asset and share purchase and sale agreements.

Community Involvement
Craig is a director, secretary and legal counsel for the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the Francis Winspear Centre for Music. Craig is also an active supporter of Startup Edmonton, sharing his expertise and experience with local entrepreneurs. Additionally, Craig recognizes the importance of community involvement in local charities and non-profit organizations, and actively supports the Terra Association and Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, among others. Craig is a tireless booster of the Edmonton area and its sports teams, and can be found enjoying its River Valley dog parks, golf courses, ski trails and cycling paths.
